Terms of Use

1. Description of the Service

LovePin is an app that enables two matched people to share their location, battery status, short notes, and arrival–departure information for important places with each other. The Service is provided by the developer Samet Doğru (“we”).

2. Eligibility and account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use LovePin. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent's or legal guardian's consent and that LovePin Plus purchases are made with their consent.
• You create your account by signing in with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the security of your account and your device.
• You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you will not impersonate anyone else.
• Each person must use only their own account and their own device.

3. Mutual consent

LovePin may only be used with both parties' knowledge and explicit consent. A match is established when both people confirm the invite code in the app, and either party may stop sharing or end the connection at any time.

Tracking a person's location, installing LovePin on their device, or using their account without their knowledge and consent is strictly prohibited and constitutes a crime in many countries.

4. Unacceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Track, harass, threaten or control a person without their consent,
• Send content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene or that violates the rights of others,
• Attempt to bypass the Service's security measures, access other people's data, or damage the systems,
• Reverse-engineer, copy, modify or use the app through automated means,
• Use the Service for commercial purposes or in any other way not permitted by these Terms.

5. Emergencies and accuracy

LovePin is not an emergency or safety service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in Türkiye).

Location, battery and notification information depend on device settings, network connectivity, iOS restrictions and third-party services; it may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. We do not guarantee that this information will be continuous, uninterrupted or perfectly accurate.

6. Your content

The notes, statuses and profile photo you send belong to you. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (storing it, transmitting it to your partner and displaying it). You are responsible for the content you share.

7. LovePin Plus subscriptions

• LovePin Plus is a subscription that renews monthly or annually and offers additional features. The current price and any trial period, if applicable, are shown on the App Store payment screen before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
• Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically for the same duration and price; the renewal fee is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off automatic renewal in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app or deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if applicable, is forfeited when the subscription is purchased.
• Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policies and are handled through Apple.
• A LovePin Plus subscription gives Plus benefits to the purchaser and to their paired partner. If the pairing ends or the subscription expires, the partner's access ends too.

8. Intellectual property

The LovePin name, logo, design, software and content belong to us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service works with Apple (Sign in with Apple, notifications, maps, App Store), Supabase, Google Analytics for Firebase for usage analytics, and RevenueCat for subscription tracking. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed. We are not responsible for outages of these services or for their own terms.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranty, express or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for any indirect damages arising from the use of the Service.

These limitations do not affect liability arising from intent or gross negligence, or the statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.

11. Termination of your account

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you seriously breach these Terms, in particular by tracking a person without their consent.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will announce significant changes within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means that you accept the current Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence, if you are a consumer, remain reserved. Consumer disputes in Türkiye are subject to the jurisdiction of the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts of Türkiye.

14. Additional terms regarding Apple

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the Service and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Any claims relating to the app (including product liability, regulatory compliance and consumer protection claims) and any claims of intellectual property infringement must be directed to us, not Apple.
• You agree to comply with applicable export and sanctions laws when using the app.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of the Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
